• Intermediate mechanical engineer

    Our team in Gothenburg, Sweden is looking for an Intermediate (5-10 years’ experience) Mechanical Design Engineer with strong technical skills in the design of process equipment, specifically tanks, vessels, heat exchangers and piping. Familiarity with pressure vessel codes, piping codes and fabrication procedures is essential. Experience in the following areas is considered an asset:

    • Background in the sulphuric acid / SO2 or P&P industry
    • Plant integration
    • Engineering design software e.g. CAD and 3D modelling
    • Developing fabrication drawings according to code.

    Good interpersonal and communication skills, and proven innovative or problem solving abilities would also be positive attributes. International travel is expected to be a regular part of your duties.

  • Financial manager

    Our Gothenburg, Sweden office is looking for a Financial Manager that will analyze financial activities and accordingly provide advice and guidance to senior management.
    The Financial Manager has primary responsibility for the day-to-day financial transactions of the company, and would also:

    • Be responsible for the treasury management of the company.
    • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
    • Develop financial metrics for gauging the company’s financial performance.
    • Assist in the development of the yearly operating budget.
    • Be responsible for budgetary control and the investigation of variances.
    • Develop trends and projections for the company’s finances.
    • Work with our Canadian head-office to set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
    • Lead the implementation of an upgraded management information system

    The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ proven experience in financial management in a private company. The following would be considered key attributes:

    • Proficient in financial software, and the use of Management Information System/Enterprise Resource Planning System.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
    • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
    • Experience in cost allocation techniques for overhead cost allocation
    • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
    • A degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
    • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA
